EMF testing results:

The heating panels were independently tested at distances between 3cm and 30cm from the panel. At 3cm — the closest point of contact — the measured EMF was just 2.3mg, well below the widely referenced 10mg safety threshold.

Your Recovery Pod arrives flat-packed and is designed for easy self-assembly. Most customers are up and running in 30–60 minutes — no tools required.

Curb side/driveway drop

Delivery is curb side: the sauna will be placed on your driveway, in a safe and level area, or inside a level garage if accessible. We’ll confirm a delivery window in advance and send tracking on dispatch. The purchaser must be home to receive and sign; missed deliveries may incur redelivery or storage fees.

Once assembled, your Recovery Pod is ready to use immediately — just plug it into a standard 10A wall outlet and let it heat up for your first session. Assembly itself takes around 30–60 minutes with two people.

A traditional sauna heats the air around you to very high temperatures (typically 80–100°C), which then heats your body indirectly. An infrared sauna uses infrared light to warm your body directly, operating at much lower air temperatures (40–60°C) while still inducing a deep, therapeutic sweat.

Most people find infrared saunas more comfortable and accessible — particularly those who find the intense heat of a traditional sauna difficult to tolerate. The lower air temperature also means infrared saunas are easier to breathe in, making sessions longer and more enjoyable.

For most people, a session of 20–45 minutes at 45–60°C is ideal. If you’re new to infrared saunas, we recommend starting with shorter sessions (15–20 minutes) at a lower temperature and gradually increasing as your body adapts.

Always stay hydrated — drink water before, during, and after your session. Listen to your body, and exit the sauna if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable at any point.

Running the Recovery Pod costs approximately $0.68 per hour based on average Australian electricity rates. For most users doing 3–5 sessions per week, that works out to roughly $10–14 per month in electricity — less than a single trip to a day spa or wellness centre.

The Recovery Pod runs on a standard 10A Australian plug (220V). Simply plug in and go — no electrician, no special wiring, no additional cost. It’s designed to work with a standard household power outlet straight out of the box.

Infrared is a spectrum of light wavelengths just beyond visible light that transfer energy as radiant warmth. Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air around you, an infrared sauna directs most of its energy directly into your body — warming you from the inside out.

With a little regular care, your Recovery Pod will look and perform beautifully for years.

After every session:

- Place a towel on the bench and floor during use to protect the wood from sweat

- Once finished, gently wipe down the interior wood to remove excess moisture

- Leave the door open for a few minutes to air out

For deeper cleaning:

- Unplug the sauna from the wall before cleaning

- Use a damp cloth to gently scrub any sweat stains from the wood

- Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners inside the sauna

- Clean the glass door with a non-ammonia glass cleaner

- Periodically dust the vents and check electrical connections

We recommend a quick wipe-down after every session and a more thorough clean once a month.
